least eight sources.
The 2014 Boston, Massachusetts trip was the inspiration for this project. Our objective was to research a culture that lives within Boston, and create a research project based off of that culture and describe their origins, their history, and what life is like for them today.
We planned to interview with a few different people. The first, was the Dorchester Nazarene, people from a Haitian Cuisine restaurant called Bon Apetite, A man named Franklin Dalembert from the Haitian Coalition, and Jean Appolan from the Haitian Expressions dance studio, where we learned Haitian dance in a freezing cold room. Unfortunately, our first two interviews with the Dorchester Nazarene and the people from the Haitian restaurant didn't work out, but luckily for us, while we were in the area of the restaurant, we found a Haitian Old Folks place where we talked with the director of the place named Oswald Neptune, and he talked with us about what they do there, and their purpose.
